Sensitive Gut Dogs & Cats

Sensitive Gut Adult Dogs & Cats

Customised Health & Wellness Raw Meal Package

Does your pet have a sensitive gut?

Symptoms include occasional diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, lack of appetite, excessive gas, and soft stools, usually caused from a commercial kibble and/or wet food diet as well as home cooked foods (such as meat, rice, and pasta).

Your pet’s digestive system can struggle to breakdown wheat gluten, dairy products, heat treated meat proteins and high carbohydrates. All these foods create poor gut flora, which can result in digestive issues, IBD, and if not improved, an allergic response and autoimmune disease.

Not to be compared to Irritable Bowel Disease. IBD symptoms are chronic diarrhoea and vomiting (more common in cats) and is usually the result of a food intolerance and is a common occurrence in pets eating a commercial processed pet food diet, and sometimes home cooked meals. It is important to note, that IBD can also be a subset of a food allergy. If your pet has been medically diagnosed with a food allergy or IBD, my sensitive gut customised raw meal package is not suitable for your pet, and I recommend you seek professional help from a holistic raw feeding vet.

When dealing with a sensitive gut, my mission is to correct the gut flora with a healthy raw food diet. A sensitive gut can respond quite well when the diet is changed to unprocessed raw food.

About the Package…

Your pet is free from illness, such as heart, liver and kidney disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, IBD (irritable bowel disease), allergies (both environmental and food). Your pet may have other health issues that I offer in my additional meal packages.

Your pet must be an adult, 12+ months for dogs and cats or 18-24 + months for large and giant breed dogs.

You may already be a raw feeder and want to ensure your pet is receiving a balanced diet, or you may be new to raw feeding.

My meal packages offer the traditional BARF style of feeding for cats and small dogs and a BARF diet with a twist suitable for medium to large breed dogs, or dogs of all sizes with a healthy appetite. A BARF diet consists of whole or minced raw meaty bones, muscle meat, fruit & vegetables, offal and a range of natural food supplements to enhance the diet. The diet is simple, convenient and easy to follow without compromising on your pet’s health.

You make the food yourself, so you know exactly what your pet is consuming. I always recommend human grade ingredients because if you can’t eat the food, then your pet shouldn’t either!

Once your pet has reached their health goal, you maintain it with the raw diet provided for the rest of their life.
